Israel and Saudi Arabia are rogue states writ large. They’re two of the world’s worst. They deplore democratic values. They spurn rule of law principles.

They commit horrendous human and civil rights abuses. They’re responsible for daily crimes against humanity.

They partner with Washington’s imperial wars. They’re an odd couple. They’re strange bedfellows. Perhaps they’re joining forces. Formal relations aren’t maintained. Back channel secret ones substitute.

On October 2, Israel’s Channel 2 TV news said senior Israeli security officials met with a high-level Gulf state counterpart. They did so in Jerusalem.

The Arab official’s name wasn’t mentioned. It’s believed to be Saudi Prince Bandar bin Sultan. Representing his government, he’s very much involved in Washington’s war on Syria. So is Israel.

Bandar’s visit broke a decades long taboo. It marks the first known time a Saudi official visited Israel. It’s believed no others did so earlier.

I hope that you will benefit from this great achievement in the hereafter. I hope that your actions and efforts in this auspicious arena will be so sincere that your performance sheet in the hereafter shines, like the sun, with the light of purity and sincerity. I express my gratitude to the honorable gentlemen for the efforts that they have made in the arena of hajj. The things that they have done – whether in cultural, spiritual, moral and educational areas or in practical and organizational areas – should really be appreciated.

Supreme Leader endorses Iranian politicians on NY

The Supreme Leader has said that he approves of and is optimistic about the policy adopted by the Iranian delegation to New York.

Speaking in a ceremony to present Army graduates with decorations, the Supreme Leader provided comments on the recent visit by high-ranking Iranian politicians to New York and the course of their diplomatic actions as optimistic and within the favorable regards of the policies of the Islamic Republic.

Martyr Mahmoud Akhlaghi was born in 1956 in a religious family in Semnan. He finished his primary and secondary school and entered the University of Semnan.

He started his anti-Shah struggles while he was a young student and organized people for participating in the protest rallies and played an important role in the victory of the Islamic Revolution in the region. When Reza Shah was unseated by the Islamic Revolution in 1979, Akhlaghi got married and had 2 children, one son and a daughter. He also joined the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps and attended the war fronts during the Iraqi imposed war on Iran.

Finally, he was assassinated by members of Mujahedin-e Khalq organization (MKO, a.k.a. MEK and NCRI) in Mersad Operation.

Amnesty International slams Bahrain for activists jail terms

Human rights watchdog Amnesty International has criticized a Bahraini court decision to jail 50 Shia activists for up to 15 years in a mass show trial, calling the verdict "appalling".

 

"It’s appalling what passes for ‘justice’ today in Bahrain," Amnesty International Middle East and North Africa director Philip Luther said on Monday. The court sentenced the activists on Sunday, including a prominent Shia Iraqi cleric who was sentenced for forming a secret opposition group.

The activists were charged with allegedly organizing the ‘February 14 Revolution Youth Coalition’ and trying to topple the country’s constitutional monarchy by organizing bombings and inciting anti-government rallies.

Turkey Ends Hijab Ban

Turkey will end a ban that bars women from wearing the veil, or Islamic hijab, in state institutions, Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan said on Monday, September 30, in a major policy speech.

 

“It is not a rational to expect this package to meet all the problems of the country, although we wish we could do this,” Erdoğan said at a press conference in Ankara, Hurriyet Daily News reported.

“It is hard to make reforms when deadlock has become a type of politics,” said Erdoğan, adding that despite all threats and attacks against his party, they had not abandoned their path to democratization.

US could not, cannot overthrow Islamic Republic

Soleimani has said that Obama’s statement that the US does not intend to overthrow the Islamic Republic is a declaration of inability rather than one of kindness.

Speaking in a memorial ceremony for Iran-Iraq war martyrs of Kerman, Major General Qasem Soleimani  said "Obama says they do not intend to overthrow the Islamic Republic of Iran. That’s because they cannot overthrow it,” Fars news agency reports.

"All US effort so far has been to overthrow the Islamic Republic,” he stressed.

Commander of the Quds Corps exclaimed that it is not an expression of goodwill by the US to say they do not want to topple the Iranian government, but rather a confession to weakness.

"In the past 35 years, the US has performed the most unfair actions against the Islamic Republic. The record is to remain in the nation’s memory,” he asserted.

Soleimani pointed out that the US does not even spare Iran medical drugs.

"When you say you do not intent to overthrow the system it is only believable when the effects of these words of Obama fade out in the US policy,” he said.

Baqiyatullah

The term Baqiya means remainder and the combination Baqiyatullah means the Remainder of Allah. It has a Quranic basis. Literally it means that which is left by Allah. What is meant by this is he is the last personage left for the conveyance of divine guidance. Prophethood was brought to an end and sealed with Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) and now Imamate is going to be brought to an end with Imam Mahdi (pbuh). He is the last individual personification of the divine will and the clearest manifestation of Baqiyatullah. He is more entitled to this title than anyone else and on the day when he will reappear, he will introduce himself with this title. It has been stated that when we want to greet him during the period of occultation it is better to say: Assalamun alayka ya Baqiyatallah fi arzeh. (Peace be upon you, O Remainder of Allah, on His earth.
