Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei said the two major messages of the massive participation of nation in rallies on Feb 11 marking the victory anniversary of the Islamic Revolution in 1979 is perseverance and unity

The Supreme Leader made the remarks here Monday morning in a meeting with a large number of people from the northwestern province of East Azarbaijan on the occasion of the anniversary of their uprising against the toppled Shah in 1978.

He said the nation demonstrated more enthusiastic and intense participation in the Feb 11 rallies to give a firm answer to the illogical attitude and rude behavior of American officials to tell them that the Iranian people will not yield to their bullying and ransom-seeking demands.

The following is the full text of the speech delivered on September 11, 2013 by Ayatollah Khamenei, the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, in a meeting with officials in charge of hajj affairs.

In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful‌

First of all, I would like to welcome all the dear brothers and sisters and the glorious officials who render many services in one of the outstanding arenas of the Islamic community – that is to say, the arena of hajj and visiting the House of God and the enlightened city of Madina. I hope that you will benefit from this great achievement in the hereafter. I hope that your actions and efforts in this auspicious arena will be so sincere that your performance sheet in the hereafter shines, like the sun, with the light of purity and sincerity. I express my gratitude to the honorable gentlemen for the efforts that they have made in the arena of hajj. The things that they have done – whether in cultural, spiritual, moral and educational areas or in practical and organizational areas – should really be appreciated.

Leader of the Islamic Revolution supports Rouhani’s diplomacy

Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei has expressed support for the diplomatic approach of President Hassan Rouhani’s administration.

Ayatollah Khamenei, however, said that Tehran is pessimistic about the US government, which is arrogant, unreliable and not trustworthy.

The Leader also noted that the US government is controlled by an international Zionist network so has to appease the occupying regime and show flexibility for the sake of the Zionists.

Ayatollah Khamenei said Iran is hearing the enemies’ repeated abhorrent threats, adding that the Islamic Republic will give a serious and firm response to any evil act against the country.

Supreme Leader endorses Iranian politicians on NY

The Supreme Leader has said that he approves of and is optimistic about the policy adopted by the Iranian delegation to New York.

Speaking in a ceremony to present Army graduates with decorations, the Supreme Leader provided comments on the recent visit by high-ranking Iranian politicians to New York and the course of their diplomatic actions as optimistic and within the favorable regards of the policies of the Islamic Republic.

Ayatollah Khamenei said "We support the diplomatic movements of the government and appreciate diplomatic efforts. We support what happened in the recent trip. Some of what happened in New York, though, we believe that was not becoming, but we are optimistic about our dear diplomatic delegation, however, pessimistic about Americans.”

"We are cynical about Americans and have no trust in them. The US government is unreliable, conceited, unreasonable, and unfaithful. It is a government possessed by the international Zionist web for the sake of which it has to appease the Zionist regime and be flexible to it.”

In the eyes of US government and the alike arrogants, there is no one as abhorred as the brightening figure and luminous sunlight of the honorable Imam. They respected him but were his enemies at their hearts, because he resisted, because with his two unique characteristics of “full insight” and “thorough determination”- he observed well and understood properly, he would firmly resist- he was a barrier against their progress and their harms, beats and bites; thus they were his enemies. Of course we said that, they respected him, they realized his greatness; but the greater, the more abhorred; It’s the same today; anyone who is steadfast to principal and main values, that is, one who is steadfast to the values that define the political identity of the revolution- i.e. not to oppress and not to be oppressed-and understands that the list of problems created by the enemies of the Islamic government are placed within this framework- anyone who possess such vision and resistance on this path- would be equally detested.

Supreme Leader Reiterates Iran’s Opposition to Nuclear Weapons

Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Imam Sayyed Ali Khamenei underlined Iran's firm and steadfast opposition to the possession, production and use of the nuclear weapons, and stressed that Tehran doesn’t

pursue such weapons, not for the US pressures, but because they contradict with the religious rules.

"We don’t accept nuclear weapons, not for the sake of the US or others, but because of our beliefs, and when we say that no one should have nuclear weapons, certainly we are not after them either," Imam Khamenei said, addressing high-ranking commanders and veterans of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) in Tehran on Tuesday.
